A Regional Voice for Graduate Education
The Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) is a regional affiliate of the Council of Graduate Schools. Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools member colleges and universities are accredited institutions of higher education in the central United States offering graduate programs leading to master's, specialist, and doctoral degrees.
According to the Constitution, the association's primary purpose is the consideration of mutual problems among member institutions relating to graduate studies and research.
Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools cooperates with other agencies through the dissemination of information, improvement of standards, encouragement of research, and assistance to institutions embarking on graduate programs.
